La Vendemmia is all new in 2012!

Mark Saturday, September 22nd in your calendars because you won’t want to miss the NEW La Vendemmia!

This year we will be taking La Vendemmia to the street! Come and “Meet the Merchants” of Preston Street.

Our businesses will be setting up on the sidewalk in front of their establishments to give you a taste of their wares. As well, our “Show n’ Shine” will feature members of Ottawa’s vintage car clubs who will be
polishing up their autos and bringing them to Preston Street for all to ogle!

There will be horse drawn wagon rides, and a kids’ fun zone, complete with bounc castle. Street performers and musicians will add to the festive atmosphere.

We will be holding wine making demonstrations, highlighting traditional
Italian art of wine-making.

cj fleury the artist who conceived and designed the Postcards from the Piazzas public art that graces Little Italy will be leading interpretive tours of her art installations.

Our Farmer’s Market and artisan Mercato will also both be open during this year’s La Vendemmia.

So plan to join us! There will be things to interest the whole family!
